Wagner Farms is another great place to visit this summer if you’re looking forward to sunflower season! This is a super cute and small farm, and because it’s small, they don’t have any activities to do (like Wickham Farms), but it’s still a neat place to visit.
When my friends and I had visited two years ago, on August 21, most of the sunflowers had already started to die. I recommend going about a week earlier than we had to have better luck :)

Here’s a picture of my dog and I with what was left of the sunflowers!
Even though we were disappointed to find that most of the sunflowers had died, Wagner Farms had a cute little farmer’s stand set up where we could buy some of the bigger sunflowers that they had preserved for resale (as you can see in the picture to the left). I had also bought a jar of honey that was locally made and it was so good! I love supporting small businesses like the one Wagner Farms has, it makes me feel good and you know their products are fresh!
Here is the location for Wagner Farms, located in Rome, NY : 43.181, -75.500.
